Monika Jessel Site Director I was born and raised in Hamburg, in the northern part of Germany. I received my degree in Social Pedagogy at the College of Education in Hamburg. Since then I have been working with children of various ages and settings for more than 30 years! I started working at the Grattan After School Program as a teacher in 1992 and was promoted to the position of Executive Director in 2002. In 2011 we merged with the ExCel Program, resulting in a shift in my position to the K-2 Program Director and the Co-Director with the 3-5 Program Director. In my spare time I enjoy reading, go to classical music and jazz performances, experience visual art exhibits, hike in nature and travel as much as I can.

Mr. Dave Kindergarten Lead Teacher I am the Team Lead for the GASP Kindergarten classes this year, and one of the Dolphins Teachers. I've been working with kids in SF since the summer of 2003. I have been a part of the Grattan community and GASP since 2010. I completed my BS in Organizational Behavior at USF in 2013, and have since been studying child development and taking prerequisites for graduate study in occupational therapy at City College (CCSF). In January I will have earned my Child Development Site Supervisor permit, and should have my Program Director Permit this coming summer. I have also earned several certificates at CCSF: Child Development Practitioner, Child Development Administration, and a certificate in Biomanufacturing.

Hailey Wilson 3rd Grade Team Lead Hi! I'm a San Franciscan native, burger loving, leaf collecting, Jeopardy nerd. I'm currently attending CCSF and am interested in psychology, sociology, and political science. This is my 3rd school year at GASP and I look forward to many more with these great kiddos and staff alike! Thank you for your support!
