GASP Registration Information
The link to the 2026–2027 registration packet is available for download and printing here. At this time, we do not have a fillable PDF; however, the document can be edited using Adobe. If you have more than one child a form must be filled out for each child.
All registration forms MUST be up-to-date before your child starts. Forms must be updated each year, as this is a requirement of the California Department of Education to allow us to operate on a public school campus. It is also a requirement of our liability insurance.
Registration Process (2026–2027 School Year)
New/incoming families must complete and return the Registration Packet via email, at the front door during GASP hours, the main office, or Bung B. Once submitted, our team will begin entering information, and families will be invited to complete registration through our online system, iCare.
If submitting forms electronically (scanned or photographed), please ensure that all information is clearly legible. If any information is unclear, our team will make every effort to contact you using the information provided as a courtesy. However, if we are unable to reach you or do not receive a response in a timely manner, we will need to move forward in the registration process. A note will be made indicating that attempts to contact were made.
Please note that our administrative team is small (approximately three staff members), and during the registration period our primary focus is processing applications as efficiently as possible. While we understand families are eager for updates, we kindly ask that you refrain from emailing to check your enrollment status. If your child is offered a spot, you will recieve an email invite to our online platform ICare.
To help us keep the process moving smoothly and avoid delays, we ask that families wait until after the registration closing date to reach out with follow-up questions regarding status.
Important Dates
Registration Opens: April 10, 2026
Registration Closes: May 8, 2026 at 6:00 PM
For incoming TK, Kindergarten and new Grattan 1st-5th families, forms submitted either by email to registration@gasp-grattan.org or turned in physically will begin to be reviewed and entered starting April 6, 2026. This allows our team to prepare for incoming students while maintaining an equitable process for all families.
This process is in place to ensure a fair, consistent, and equitable opportunity for all families.
Returning Families
Registration packets for the 2026–2027 school year will be released on April 10, 2026. Returning families can access the form through the email previously sent by the GASP team, on this website, or by picking up a hard copy at the front entrance. Families may also request a copy from our checkout specialist. For any questions, please contact registration@gasp-grattan.org.
We kindly ask that you wait to submit all registration materials until registration officially opens on April 10, 2026. Submitting materials prior to this date is not necessary and does not provide any advantage in the registration process. Any forms received early—whether sent via email or dropped off at the main office, bungalow, or front entrance—will be held and will not be reviewed, timestamped, or processed until registration opens.
Mandatory Component:
All outstanding balances, including April, must be paid in full in order for your child(ren) to be officially enrolled for the 2026–2027 school year. While students may be entered(registered) into the system, enrollment will not be considered complete until the full balance has been received. If the registration deadline passes and your balance remains unpaid, including May, your child(ren) will forfeit their spot and be placed on the waitlist.
Once enrolled, returning families will be asked to review and update their information in iCare to ensure all details are current.
Incoming Families
New families are encouraged to email registration@gasp-grattan.org to express interest.
Forms can be accessed here or picked up as hard copies at the front entrance with our checkout specialist. A limited number of copies are also available in the main office. Completed forms may be submitted by email, dropped off with the checkout specialist, or turned in at the main office. Email submission is preferred for faster processing.
If submitting forms electronically (scanned or photographed), please ensure that all information, especially your phone number and email address, is clearly legible. This is how we will contact you with any questions or to complete your enrollment.
For incoming TK, Kindergarten, and new Grattan 1st–5th grade families, submitted forms (by email or physical copy) will begin to be reviewed and entered starting April 6, 2026. This allows our team to prepare for incoming students and support a smooth registration process.
We reserve a limited number of equity spots for incoming families to help ensure access to the program.
All registration Fees & Security Deposits must be paid via Parent Portal or by a check written to “Grattan After School Program” or “GASP” prior to enrollment.

A 10% sibling discount is offered for each additional child enrolled.
If you have any questions regarding your application, please reach out to registration@gasp-grattan.org.
Waitlist Process
We want to keep families informed about important updates for the upcoming school year.
Our waitlist will be active again this year, with a firm deadline of:
🗓 May 8th at 6:00 PM
All registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Why a Waitlist?
As part of updated district requirements, we must remain in compliance with staff-to-student ratios to ensure safety and program quality:
TK & Kinder: 1 staff to 10 students
1st–5th Grade: 1 staff to 20 students
Because of these limits, we are not able to exceed capacity and will continue using a waitlist system.
How the Process Works
All registration forms are timestamped (date and time) upon submission.
Once received and timestamped, your information is entered into our system.
A member of our team will review your account to confirm that tuition balances are paid in full.
Form Completion Requirements:
All registration forms must be fully completed in order to be considered for enrollment.
If any required pages are missing signatures or information, our team will reach out to notify you.
Families will have one business day from the time of outreach to correct and resubmit the missing information.
If the required information is not completed within that timeframe, we will continue processing other registrations, and your form will be moved to the bottom of the list until all required items are completed.
Please note: This does not place you on the waitlist, but your registration will not be considered complete until all required information is submitted.
For optional consent forms (such as photo/media consent used for internal program purposes), our team will still enter your registration and follow up with you to confirm your preferences.
Account Balances:
If your account is current:
New families: You will receive an email from iCare to register and create your account to complete enrollment for the new school year.
Returning families: You will receive an email confirmation from iCare that your enrollment is complete.
If your account has a balance:
Your account will be flagged, and you will receive an email reminder to pay the remaining balance.
We will review accounts weekly and update enrollment status as balances are cleared.
Funds received must have confirmation of deposit before being applied to your account. In the past, we have received checks that did not clear.
If a payment is returned or does not clear, we will allow one business day from the time we are notified to receive an updated payment. We will communicate with families once we receive notice so you can resolve it promptly.
Accounts must be fully paid through May (including April and May invoices) by May 8th.
If May 8th arrives and there is still a balance on your account, you will receive an email stating that your balance is pending and must be paid in order to be enrolled.
If a balance remains after this date, the registration will be moved to the waitlist and assigned a new timestamp once resolved.
Deadline and Waitlist Placement
Forms submitted on or before May 8th at 6:00 PM will be reviewed for enrollment.
Forms submitted after May 8th at 6:00 PM will be placed on the waitlist in timestamp order.
Families placed on the waitlist will be notified of their position via email.
Ongoing Payment Policy
During the school year, accounts must remain current.
If a family accrues two months of unpaid balance, the student will be temporarily removed from the program and placed on a temporary waitlist until the balance is paid in full.
We understand that financial situations can change, and we are here to support families. If you need assistance, we encourage you to complete our Tuition Assistance Form.
At the same time, tuition directly supports staffing and daily program operations, so timely payment is essential.
Once the account is resolved, re-enrollment will depend on available space and staffing capacity.
Additional Notes
Openings from the waitlist depend on staffing capacity. At times, we may need to pause enrollment from the waitlist.
If this happens, we will clearly communicate the reason to families.
The waitlist resets each year. Families from last year’s waitlist do not receive priority.
